Account audit
Structure, match types, negatives, asset groups, audience signals, bid strategies and budget allocation — reviewed against what you actually sell and what it costs you to deliver.
Service
Paid media managed against profit rather than clicks. I audit what you are running, fix what the numbers are hiding, and rebuild campaigns around the customers who are actually worth acquiring.
They are short of an honest answer to one question: which spend produces profit? Almost every account I open has the same three problems underneath it — conversion tracking that double-counts or misses entirely, a structure built for a catalogue that has since changed, and a bid strategy chasing a target nobody has revisited in a year.
Until those are fixed, optimising is guesswork dressed up as analysis. So that is where I start, every time, before touching a budget.
Fix what the account reports before changing what it does.
Find the spend producing nothing and stop it. Usually the fastest win available.
Push budget into the segments that clear your margin, not your CPA target.
Structure, match types, negatives, asset groups, audience signals, bid strategies and budget allocation — reviewed against what you actually sell and what it costs you to deliver.
Nearly every audit turns up tracking that inflates or loses conversions. Fixing it usually changes the picture more than any bid change would. More on tracking.
Search campaigns built around genuine commercial intent, and PMax asset groups given the signals and exclusions they need so they stop cannibalising your brand traffic.
Titles, attributes, custom labels and feed rules — the unglamorous work that decides whether Shopping is profitable. More on e-commerce.
Prospecting and retargeting built on clean event data, with creative testing structured so you learn something from each round instead of just rotating images.
Target ROAS and target CPA set from your actual margin and close rate, then reviewed as the numbers move — not set once at launch and forgotten.
E-commerce brands spending enough that a percentage point of ROAS matters, and service businesses where one good lead pays for a month of ads. If you are pre-launch with no data and no budget, an audit or a free tool will serve you better than a retainer — I will tell you so on the call.
Google Ads is the core: Search, Performance Max, Shopping, Demand Gen and YouTube. Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) alongside it where the audience is there. I would rather run two channels properly than six badly, so I will usually recommend consolidating spend before adding a platform.
There is no hard floor, but below roughly $2,000 a month there is not enough data for the optimisation work to pay for itself, and you are usually better served by a one-off audit and a setup you run yourself. Above that, management earns its fee.
No. Percentage-of-spend quietly rewards me for spending more of your money, which is the opposite of the incentive you want. I work on a flat monthly retainer or a fixed-scope project fee, agreed before anything starts.
Tracking and structural fixes usually show up in the first two to three weeks — often the first visible change is that your reported numbers finally match reality. Meaningful movement in ROAS or cost per acquisition typically takes one to three months, depending on spend level and how much history the account has.
Yes. A good part of my work is alongside an in-house marketer or as the paid-media specialist inside an agency's delivery team. I am comfortable being the person who does the work, or the person who reviews and directs it.
Always. Campaigns are built in your Google Ads, Meta and GA4 accounts, under your billing. If we stop working together you keep everything, including the tracking setup and the documentation.
Turning the traffic you already pay for into customers.
A predictable flow of qualified leads at a cost you can plan around.
Shopping feeds, Performance Max and the unit economics underneath them.
GA4, GTM and server-side tracking that reports numbers you can trust.
