Saudi Arabia (KSA)
Jaseel M led marketing for an agency in Riyadh and ran paid acquisition for a logistics company in Jeddah. He now works remotely with Saudi e-commerce and service brands on Google Ads, Meta, tracking and lead generation.
In brief
I am an independent performance marketing consultant who has worked in the Saudi market: as Head of Marketing at Collatree Arabia in Riyadh and running paid acquisition for Glaube Logistics in Jeddah. I help Saudi e-commerce and service brands with Google Ads, Meta and Snapchat, tracking that captures WhatsApp and phone enquiries as well as checkout, and lead generation judged on qualified leads. I work remotely from India; Saudi Arabia is 2.5 hours behind me.
Working in the Saudi market taught me that copying a UK or Indian playbook does not work. The differences that matter most for paid media:
If your store runs on Salla or Zid, the paid-media principles are the same — accurate purchase tracking, a clean product feed, margin-based targets — but the implementation differs. Each platform has its own way of connecting Google, Meta, Snapchat and TikTok pixels and exporting a product catalogue. The first job is checking what the platform's built-in integration actually sends, whether purchase values and currency are right, and whether anything is double-counted, before deciding whether Google Tag Manager or a server-side route is needed.
My Saudi experience is mostly lead generation for service companies. What made the difference there:
I work with brands across Saudi Arabia, remotely. My previous roles were based on Riyadh and Jeddah businesses; calls run in Saudi working hours, and I am 2.5 hours ahead of Riyadh, which gives a full shared working day.
At the time of writing, advertising in ChatGPT was not yet live for the Gulf. When it is, the groundwork is the same as everywhere: tracking that can measure it. I built ConvoPixel for that and offer ChatGPT Ads setup in markets where it is available.
Yes. I was Head of Marketing at Collatree Arabia, an agency in Riyadh, and handled paid acquisition for Glaube Logistics in Jeddah, alongside other service-sector lead generation in the GCC.
Snapchat belongs in most Saudi media plans for consumer brands. I plan and evaluate Snapchat alongside Google and Meta, with the Snap pixel and Conversions API tracked and deduplicated like any other channel.
Campaigns are structured to run in both Arabic and English. Arabic ad copy and landing pages should be written or reviewed by a native Arabic writer; I work with your team or translator on that rather than machine-translating.
Yes — the tracking and feed set-up differs from Shopify, and checking what each platform's built-in integrations actually send is the first step.
Yes, quotes can be in SAR or USD.
The work is remote. For the right engagement, an in-person workshop can be arranged.
